Canadian Sea Cucumbers

Harvested from the cold, clean and pristine waters along the Canadian coast, Canadian sea cucumbers are considered a clean, nutritious and healthy delicacy in many cultures.

Most popular sea cucumber species in Canada include Atlantic Sea Cucumber from the deep Atlantic Ocean on the eastern coast of Canada, and Alaska Red Sea Cucumber harvested in the North American coastal areas off the west coast of Canada.

The sea cucumbers, either used fresh or dried, have been extremely valuable food or medicinal supplement. Low in fat, but high in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, Canadian sea cucumber have shown excellent immune boosting and anti-aging benefits.

Its higher content of DHA, commonly known as “brain gold” has made Canadian sea cucumber a preferred supplementary tonic during women’s pregnancy.
